Over time, I started wishing for a personal finance app that could do a few very specific things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u30fbTrack income and expenses separately for each currency<br>\u30fbCombine all accounts into one overall balance<br>\u30fbInstantly display that balance in different currencies whenever needed<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It sounds simple, but surprisingly, it\u2019s very difficult to find an app that does exactly this in a clean and intuitive way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There may be professional accounting systems with similar features, but most of them feel too complex or designed for large businesses rather than individuals like me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s why I started thinking:<br>\u201cIf I can\u2019t find the tool I want, maybe I should build it myself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the moment, these features haven\u2019t been implemented yet, but creating a truly multi-currency-friendly bookkeeping system is something I genuinely want to work on in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And once I\u2019m able to build it properly, I\u2019d love to keep adding all the features I personally wish existed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks for reading, and I hope to share more progress soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cWouldn\u2019t it be nice if I could manage my finances separately for each currency?\u201d Have you ever thought it would be nice to have a feature like that?
